Visit to the Mill

I went to Carloway on Friday and came back with 

some gorgeous samples of colours that could be had,  I decided to go for the ones on the bottom of the first pic, I think I picked out three shades, one of them being the red, and the other being a rust and mink, I hope to go back to the mill next week to collect the yarn.

And this is what I was playing with yesterday, I'm not usually one for 4ply in Harris Wool but I do get asked about it so I have come up with these shades (my photographs are not that great), I have yet to work out the yardage and gauge, these will be added to our website later in the week.
