Extreme Scarf Knitting

This is my work in progress this week so far. I'm knitting a scarf using these huge needles, They are 27mm approx and are great to knit with, The scarf is hopefully going to raise money for charity. 

For charity, It's going to be  "Guess the number of stitches on finished scarf?" More info to follow..

I'm not sure I used enough stands of yarn but it does feel ever so soft.

FairIsle Baby Hat

And here is something I played with over the weekend, odd balls of merino cool wool and this is the finished piece.  Now I cannot say this was my design as I took the fairisle design from a pattern by
drops but wanted to knit a baby hat....








And I wanted to get a cute looking top and I like the way this spirals..
