Another Knitted Hat

I also finished another hat, started as I was on the way for my weekly shop....Car knitting!   amazing what you can knit in an hour.....

I was the passenger!  The star shape on the top was a mishap but I like the way it turned out..I used 100% merino aran for this handpainted in Uruguay...

Finished my 2 week sweater

I started knitting the sweater on the 8th of June for the 2 week challenge on ravelry.......finished weaving the ends in last night  and now I have it sitting in a bowl of luke warm water and will rinse and let it towel dry.
I used Lana grossa Cool Wool.. Another pattern of mine hand knitted from the top-down.

Oh! I don't like frogging

I hate frogging my knitting so after I made a wee mistake in the decreases of this so called baby sweater I thought  "would this look OK in a bag?"  So carried on knitting and today finished the piece off.  I had bamboo handles and made wee i-cords to keep the handles in place, finished it off with a button,   I grafted the sleeve openings together and it gives it a good shape.......it's off over the Clisham already...Cute eh?  I actually quite like the way it zig-zagged down the body..

On and Off the Needles

Off the knitting needles is
A beanie hat knitted using my Seascape Hand Dyed Yarn for a custom request.
This was a blend of 75% wool/25% nylon.  Actually the first a beanie hat in this size was knitted but came up a treat.
On the needles is a top down baby jumper that should fit a toddler chest 24 inch.  Again I am using my Seascape hand Dyed Yarn in 75% wool/25% nylon.  I'm using Hiya Hiya Circular needles in 2.5mm size. (They are available in my web store here http://www.calanacrafts.co.uk as is the yarn).   I dyed 2 of these skeins as I am sure I am gong to need them and I wanted to see if there was a major colour difference in the two dyed skeins.  Maybe this is something I'll think of in the future or sell as a kit including the pattern and needles.
